One thing to know if you're interested in working at a Casino is that most jobs are on your feet and nights/weekends. Right now we are short staffed in pretty much every department which is causing some burnout but it seems like that's a common problem in the industry across the country currently. In general, there is a lot of opportunity because the casino is like a tiny town - almost everything is done in-house and people transfer from department to department to gain new experiences all the time. I started at River City as an intern in 2017 and have held 4 other titles in my time here, 3 of which were promotional opportunities. I personally have always felt invested in and like my work was appreciated. Our 43 entertainment destinations across North America have something for everyone, and PENN Play membership rewards help our customers have more fun. And we’re committed to offering the help and resources people may need for problem gambling. There is a very diverse culture at River City and I have learned a lot about cultures I've never had exposure to before by working with team members from all walks of life. Safe gaming is our top priority at PENN Entertainment. At River City work feels like home, everyone is so friendly, know each other well and care for each other. I've worked places with very cold, stuffy cultures in my past where work felt just like work.
